Sort of charming motif - and not the easiest to work with, which gives you in my way of thinking a plus-point.
Because it is more of a challenge than just going for the pretty, picturesque motifs, where the final result is largely carried by the subjects natural beauty.
Here is a small space, literally in between two huts, a place normally we don't even bother to look after.
But, next the joy and curiosity about and in the ''beside of main-stream motifs'' is of course also the challenge to actually get the this, your first impression captured, transported.
Not that every viewer needs to see the same as you - but at least something in this ''presentation'' should get, trigger the attention.
There are many ways to do this - and to my mind your image is quite attractive, interesting - something to be a bit curious - and if it is only the question - wonder what she saw there ?
You said that it is the first time that you have been ''redigirer'' farge - does this mean that you have done more than converting into S/H ?
I'm not trying to tell you what you might should do different etc. - it is your image, and you have been working with it - but there are some small areas I like to point out as areas you could do something different.
By nature it is a very tight image - the main subject is the small area in between.
The understanding of room could support this, by offering an introduction - which fks. could mean to step a bit back - and incl. the two edges of both buildings - not a must - just one idea.
The lines of the wooden planks are nice guiding lines - but ''force the eye also very much to the centre of the image - reducing it's size if you want.
The edge of the building on the right is in my way of viewing very much of a ''blocker'' - the eye really hits there an edge.
The whole setting is a touch too static - even though there are a lot of nice details etc. to find - but there are all ''on the way''.
I like the way the different material textures are working in your image - something I find is very much on the plus-side.
The small bit of sky - the outlook on the upper end of the image is also a nice detail - something evt. good to get stronger - it also lift's the eye.
Nevertheless - there are always many options - and this is one of them, and interesting for sure.

Thank you for your comment Georg.
I haven´t done anything else with the pic than turning it into black/white, croped and resized it.
You have seen a lot of elements that I haven´t seen. That is very interesting for me. I am learning by doing, so maybe I get better. :)

Inevitable that you will learn - and not only in technical aspects, but also in seeing.
Photography, no matter if active - or passive is a rather interesting experience as it appeals to one of our main senses.
And exploring this sense of visual information, trying to see and understand what images communicate is certainly on all levels fascinating.
Very carefully phrased - it is always hard to be accurate - I at least can say that I wish you to succeed with your obviously open-minded and playful approach to it.
In the end it is only you who is going to decide how much of time and energy to invest in it.
Some become technical brilliant photographers, some explore methods of self-expression - and some just enjoy the thrill of keeping, collecting moments, places, memories etc.
In the end, I think as long as one is investing something into it - it is always rewarding.
Need to stop this - sounds too much like I'm trying to tell myself something :)

Kommenterer på norsk heller, siden jeg ikke er helt stødig i engelsk. :)
Tusen takk for kommentar.
